Patients have started receiving primary and acute services in addition to specialty care 

Kennett Square, Pennsylvania – March 3, 2025 – LCH Health and Community Services has started seeing patients for Primary Care Services in West Grove today, March 3rd. In addition to specialty care services, the West Grove Health Center will provide the same primary care services as the Kennett Square and Oxford Health Centers. 

By delivering primary care such as routine wellness exams and health screenings in all three locations, LCH will further ensure access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for individuals and families in Southern Chester County. 

“Southern Chester County is fortunate to have a growing number of quality primary care providers,” said Pennsylvania State Representative, John Lawrence. “LCH’s expanded services in West Grove are an important addition to the community, particularly at a time when many other providers are reducing offerings.” 

The West Grove Health Center opened in 2018 in the Jenners Village Professional Building to offer women’s health services. Since then, the center has expanded to offer additional specialty services, including pediatric care, dental services, and behavioral health services. Now patients will be able to schedule appointments for primary care and these services all in one location.

Gannon, CEO of LCH Health and Community Services. “The ability for our patients to visit their primary care physician at the location closest to home improves their standard of care and produces better health outcomes.” 

Patients can schedule appointments with our providers for wellness visits, immunizations, sick visits, chronic illness diagnosis and treatment, health screenings, and more in the LCH Health Center that is most convenient for them. Social service assistance is also available in all locations, and an on-site pharmacy provides affordable medications in the Kennett Square Health Center. 

According to a 2024 National Survey of Federally Qualified Health Centers, over 30 million individuals are served by health centers like LCH each year. With convenient hours and a comprehensive range of services, LCH delivers vital healthcare and resources to vulnerable populations throughout Southern Chester County. Expanded access to primary care services in West Grove will promote a healthier, thriving community.
