Excellence Award reflects years of service and support for La Comunidad Hispana.

The Awards for Primary Care Excellence (APEX Awards) are given annually to community health centers across the state of Pennsylvania. This year, southern Chester County resident Alice K. Moorhead received the APEX Award for Board Excellence in recognition of her many years of volunteer work on the board of directors at La Comunidad Hispana (LCH).

“We couldn’t be more proud of Alice’s achievement,” said LCH’s President and CEO Alisa Jones. “The award represents an acknowledgment of the amazing work Alice has done over many years to champion support for Latino families in our area. Her personal passion and unwavering commitment have helped LCH serve even more families in need, growing the number served 30% each year for the past several years. None of this would be possible without, Alice! We are so grateful.” Alice received the award during Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Center’s (PACHC) annual conference in Lancaster last month.
