A Family Tradition in Women’s Care
Meet Yanira, an LCH patient who sees the health center as a family tradition. Her connection to LCH began with a recommendation from her mother, who first sought care there while pregnant with Yanira’s younger brother, Alan.
Fifteen years later, Yanira continues to follow in those footsteps. She chose LCH for her first pregnancy 11 years ago and returned for the birth of her second child. For over a decade, she has relied on LCH’s Women’s Health services in West Grove for consistent, supportive care.
“LCH’s care feels like family care,” Yanira shares. “I have always been treated nicely and with respect; the providers always answer my concerns”.
To those who may feel nervous about seeking Women’s Health services for the first time, Yanira offers words of encouragement. She believes that while it is normal to be hesitant, every woman deserves access to quality care, and LCH is a place that ensures patients feel at home.
Today, Yanira reminds us that the community-focused foundation upon which LCH was built remains evident in every visit and interaction she experiences.
