LCH Earns Top Award for Quality Care; Rates Among Best in PA
La Comunidad Hispana (LCH) in Southern Chester County is proud to announce that LCH has been recognized this year as Health Center Quality Leader by the U.S. Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).
Each year, the federal Health Services Administration analyzes the patient health outcome data submitted by all federally qualified health centers, and recognizes the top performing centers with awards. Of Pennsylvania’s 42 health centers, LCH was one of only 13 recognized as Health Center Quality Leaders. In addition to this prestigious award, LCH was recognized with awards for clinical quality improvement, reducing health care disparities, and improving access to care for our community. In total, LCH earned more than $120,000 for these awards.
LCH CEO, Alisa Jones, notes, “We are tremendously proud to have earned these awards for our quality and to be in a select group of health centers who are considered statewide leaders in quality. At LCH we believe our integrated model of whole-person health care makes a significant difference in outcomes. We understand that physical health, mental health and social connections are all important and we work together across LCH’s sites in Oxford and Kennett Square to improve the well-being of those we are privileged to serve.”
